קְדוֹש

קְדוֹשch. (denom. of preced.) 1) to become sanctified, consecrated. Men.100a לִיקְדּוֹש, v. פְּסוֹל; Yoma 29b תִּקְדּוֹש; a. e. 2) to be betrothed. Kidd.12b תיקדושוכ׳ let her be betrothed by means of the four Zuz which are wrapped up
